Abstract
Dawei Huo interviews Linden Brown about the differences in domestic life that they witnessed growing up in Massachusetts and traveling around the world. Brown discusses growing up in Woods Hole, a small town in Massachusetts. They describe their mother's vegetable garden and their family's grocery shopping habits. Brown also recalls traveling to Japan as a college student and observing differences in social structure and gender roles. They reflect on the American way of life, particularly focusing on car culture and American's food shopping habits.
