Jumping In: A Story of Refugee Resettlement

A chapbook in the Migration Stories Chapbook Series published by Creative Writing. The chapbook gives reflections and practical insights from the point of view of a core volunteer with the Hyde Park Refugee Project in the period of 2016-2019 when the project supported two Syrian refugee families resettled in the Hyde Park neighborhood on the south side of Chicago. Also provides background information on the Syrian refugee crisis and practical information for those interested in working on refugee resettlement.
