Description

I discussed the toponym spelled MLShKRD in Ibn Ajā's itinerary to and from Tabriz and rejected some proposed identifications without being able to offer a better suggestion. The toponym can now be identified with the fortress and village of Manuškut, which is modern Yeşilova/Solhan/Bingöl. Due to this identification, my proposed reconstruction of Ibn Ajā's itinerary between Bingöl and Aktuzla/Malazgirt/Muş must be amended.
