Description

Oru (japanese: to fold, to weave) is a composition for chamber orchestra and objects, exploring sonic, visual, and narrative implications of an action carried out by performers during a performance of the work: A large ball of yarn is passed between the performers, creating a pattern that resembles a butterfly wing.
