The National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services (N-SSATS) is an annual survey conducted by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to collect data from all known public and private substance abuse treatment facilities in the United States and its jurisdictions. The dataset includes annual data from 2015 through 2020, with each year's data accompanied by a codebook and questionnaire detailing the variables and methodology used.

Notes

This data is part of the federal data rescue project undertaken at UChicago January and February 2025.
