The Ojibwe Decisionscape: Modeling the Indigenous Great Lakes in the Eighteenth Century

In the early eighteenth century, the Ojibwe people had to navigate the changing world brought on by European colonization and the fur trade. This era saw sustained Ojibwe expansion unlike Indigenous peoples to the east and south. This paper models the landscape of interconnected decisions faced by the Ojibwe people and provide a mechanism by which that decisions cape can be explored.
