China's 2026 Zero-Tariff Trade Expansion With Ghana – Economic Statecraft and the forthcoming China-Africa Economic Partnership for Shared Development Agreement

This graduate policy paper analyzes China’s 2026 zero-tariff trade expansion with Ghana as a form of economic statecraft within the broader context of China-Africa relations, South-South cooperation, and an emerging multipolar global order. It further examines the opportunities and risks that expanded Chinese market access may present for Ghana’s exports, industrial development, and long-term strategic positioning.
