Million Neighborhoods Africa Database

First ever GIS database covering every street block in sub-Saharan Africa. Data features include a physical measure of informality based on extent to which buildings have access to streets (called block complexity), estimates of population (based on LandScan 2020 and WorldPop 2020), population per hectare, block area, buildings counts, and total building area.
