      abstract = {<a href="https://kmi.open.ac.uk/people/member/petr-knoth"  target="_blank">Prof. Petr Knoth</a> is the Head of <a  href="https://core.ac.uk/" target="_blank">CORE</a> and a  Professor of Data Science at The Open University in the UK.  He leads the <a href="https://bsdtag.kmi.open.ac.uk/"  target="_blank">Big Scientific Data and Text Analytics  Group</a> (BSDTag), which develops new technologies powered  by AI in the area of machine processing of scientific  information. The group has experience with using AI in a  wide range of application areas including detecting  citation intent, rapid systematic reviews, research  recommender systems, deduplication, document classification  and information extraction. In light of the recent  advancements in large language models (LLMs), Petr’s group  recently introduced CORE-GPT, a question-answering system  that utilizes ChatGPT to generate responses grounded in  scientific literature together with references to relevant  content. In this virtual presentation, Petr will talk about  a range of AI activities, use cases, and projects his team  (BSDTag) has been involved in.},
